Small Business Management – Forms Free User Guide

Product: Small Business Management – Forms
Version covered: 1.0.11

This guide explains how to create forms, choose templates, publish them, review submissions and connect form results to CRM lists and tags.

Creating a form

  1. Open SBM Forms.
  2. Choose a template.
  3. Edit the form title and success message.
  4. Review fields and required flags.
  5. Configure CRM list/tag actions where needed.
  6. Save and test the form before publishing.

Choosing the right template

TemplateChoose this when
Lead EnquirySales or contact enquiries.
Newsletter SignupConsent-based marketing sign-up.
Quote RequestA customer asks for pricing or proposal follow-up.
Support RequestA customer needs help or service.
Customer OnboardingCollect setup details after signup/purchase.
Feedback FormCollect comments and satisfaction information.

Styling and Elementor

The Elementor widget is the preferred option when the form must match a landing page or product page. Adjust layout, label visibility, button text, field spacing, colours and radius so the form matches the Nomad marketplace theme.

Submissions

Review submissions regularly. Confirm CRM contact creation, check list/tag assignment and follow up quickly. Export or clean submissions according to your data-retention policy.

Notifications

If Transactional Email is active, form notifications are handled there and should appear in the Transactional Email log. If not, Forms falls back to WordPress mail.

Good practice

  • Keep forms short.
  • Use clear labels.
  • Do not require fields that are not needed.
  • Use a separate form for distinct purposes.
  • Test every published form after theme or plugin updates.
